ACTIVITIES MINISTRY
This ministry sponsors a variety of recreational/leisure programs for the church family, including weight room and fitness center, aerobics classes, team sports, drama ministry, family outings to ballgames, church-wide movie nights, annual Pumpkin Patch party, Spring Fling, church-wide socials, and craft activities.
DAYSTAR
A music ministry group of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville, NC, organized in 1990. This group sings in churches and at other opportunities across North Carolina and in neighboring states. Their season generally runs from May until November and January until March. Each year they provide a new program filled with many favorites from ages past and some newer songs in the old-time tradition. Click here for more information.
FELLOWSHIP BIBLE GROUPS
There are over 50 small groups that meet for Bible study and fellowship every Sunday morning at 8:15am, 9:30 am and 11:00 am . There is a class for every adult, whatever your age, marital status, or life situation.
HEARING IMPAIRED MINISTRY
The 9:30 am worship service is interpreted and we have a Bible Study at 11:00 am .
SENIOR CARE CONNECTIONS
Persons are ministered to in their homes. Please, call for information.

Live Embers
Live Embers is a senior adult fellowship and travel group, meets on the third Thursday of the month at 12:30 pm for a general meeting with a program and a covered dish luncheon. |

Men's Ministry
Open to all men. There’s plenty of fun and fellowship … mixed with outreach - discipleship courses – mission work. We have well planned meetings and exciting events, with Men’s Fraternity vibrant and growing on Tuesday mornings at 6:00 a.m. Check us out … Be the man! |
