W.E.E. Staff: Our teachers are experienced teachers or early childhood educators. Staff members are active in the state and local professional early childhood association. Our W.E.E. School is a member of the North Carolina State Baptist Weekday School Association. The director is active in this association as well as the national level organizations. All staff members are trained to administer emergency first aid and CPR.
All staff members have been screened through a criminal background check. Our teachers have been chosen because of their education, experience, and Christian maturity. Take time to get to know your child's teachers -- W.E.E. has an open door policy.
Our Curriculum: It is our belief that children learn best through hands-on activities. Lessons are built around play and experimental learning. Our curriculum is designed to help the children develop in all areas of their lives ... physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually. We believe that a child absorbs his/her concept of God from people, things and experiences that are a part of his/her environment.
Our core curriculum is published by the Baptist Sunday School Board, Nashville, Tennessee. Supplementary text may be used to enrich this material.
