Support, encouragement and connection is offered to those who care for them and for their loved ones. This is not a drop-off program. No charge for this event.

God created us all for good works. To help accomplish that purpose, He gifted each of us with specific personality traits, spiritual gifts, and abilities so that we can use them for His glory. Perhaps you already know how God has gifted you. Discovering your spiritual gifts is just the beginning. PLACE also helps you gain understanding of which natural abilities complement your personality, and connect you to your passion and life experiences. This enables you to better understand where God is taking you.
The PLACE process helps you grasp the ‘big picture’ for your life, so you can target which ministry you can best apply your talents, inside and outside the walls of FBC. The PLACE process involves:
Learning Spiritual Gifts
Connecting Passion with Ministry
Experiences in Life
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10

The purpose of the orphan ministry is to raise awareness of God's call to care for orphans. The orphan ministry reaches out to adoptive families in our church. It also oversees the details of our church's sponsorship of the Kirov #1 orphanage in Russia.
