The world is much more fragile than we thought. Recently the percentage of the world’s population living in cities has just crossed the 50 percent mark. We are living in a capital city in South Asia. Our only way of acquiring food and other needs is through a delivery system which promises to bring an order 4 to 7 days after you have made the order online and paid with a debit card.
All this happened in a relatively short period of time...so much energy expended towards OUR PLANS! ...And yet still as I hear news from around the world, it is evident that so many people are until even now determined to make their plans work out. Pray that we as the church would go back to simplicity, and humble ourselves, praying for the Lord’s compassion on our world and the sick, for the purpose that we would have more opportunity to share Truth with those who don’t know Him! Pray that we will learn to be still and quiet in His presence and listen for His voice. Sometimes we can be so distracted by the noise of life and ministry that we don’t hear Him well or clearly or give our hearts enough time to get quiet so I can hear His voice.
