First Baptist Academy is a half-day preschool that prepares children for kindergarten and elementary school. We seek to develop the whole child -  spiritually, academically, physically, emotionally, and socially. It is our sincere desire to strengthen families and provide positive guidance by teaching Christian values for a sound spiritual foundation.  

We teach curriculum that meets current educational standards. Our students learn about God’s creation and how much He loves them. We have weekly Kindermusik and physical education classes (Ready, Set, Go) for our 3s-TK students. Our students visit our church library regularly for story time and our 3s-TK students check out books to enjoy at home. Of course, we also PLAY! Preschool children learn best through hands-on experiences and play, so we make sure those are the main parts of our daily activities. 

To complement our curriculum, we have touch-enabled interactive projectors (similar to smartboards) in our 4s & TK classrooms. We are blessed to be able to offer our students this innovative technology along with traditional preschool activities. This further enhances the teaching capabilities of our staff and the learning experiences of our students. Students interact with the curriculum software to learn phonics, reading, writing and math concepts.
